loooool not all dj have to scratch Eric ... 4 xample .. i`m a electro house deejay ... and i don`t use scratch effects :) at all :) i have some tricks of my own but they dont iclude scratch because i hate them :)

Tha's true not all dj's have to scratch. i got friend's that's into spinnin house, electro,n all that other types they don't really scratch, but they got other tricks that i've learnt from them to incorporate into my spinnnin, but why do you hate it? you ever try it? i mean lil' unknown dj's like q-bert, bad boy bill, dj jazzy jeff, they all started with either house electro funky breaks n what not but are considered some of the greatest turntablist that ever graced the wheels of steels.

you speak of tricks of your own? i'm interested what are they? maybe i can learn some n incorporate it instead of hating on your tricks

THERe are different types of djs, there r dj who will come in a club n play music for ppl to dance all night n not say a word or do 1 tricks, and thre are scratch dj who do all the tricks and there are mix tape dj and so on so a dj don't need to b able to scratch mix properly and keep the ppl dancing
